THE EU CONCEPT OF EQUAL EMPLOYMENT PAY

Abstract
In May 2023, the new UE conception of equal pay was issued on strengthening the application of the principle of equality between men and women in equal work or work of equal value through pay transparency and enforcement mechanisms. Its main task is to introduce transparency of employment systems by employers and EU Member States and to enable and facilitate the overcoming of procedural obstacles used by entrepreneurs who do not comply with anti-discrimination standards in force in the EU for less treated employees, mainly women. The directive inspired citizens of EU Member States covered by legal protection against discrimination and failure to comply with the conduct of entrepreneurs in matters related to the principle of equal pay to pursue claims for compensation through the above-mentioned bodies representing injured.
