CREATION AND CHARACTERISTICS OF THE NEW FUNDAMENTAL LAW OF HUNGARY

Abstract
In 2011 the Parliament of the Republic of Hungary adopted a new Fundamental Law of Hungary as a new constitution of the country. Its creation was preceded by an interesting political development which started by the parliamentary elections in April 2010. Why Hungary needed the new constituon? This article introduces us both to the history of the Hungarian constitutional system and with the background and process of preparing a new Constitution. Aside attention did not stay terminological problems and characteristics of the normative parts of the new fundamental law.
